The sweet and salty flavors of the miso paste go so well with the savory flavor of the beef! Served this alongside some sautéed kale and roasted delicate squash (one of my favorites!).
Preheat oven to 400° F. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, garlic, miso, milk, salt and garam masala until thoroughly combined.
Mix in the cheese and oatmeal. Add the beef and gently mix with your hands until all ingredients are combined (don’t over mix!).
Working one at a time, scoop out 2 heaping tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls between your palms. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet (you should end up with about 15-16 meatballs).
Bake meatballs until lightly browned on top and cooked through, about 20-25 minutes.
