Honey Butter Salmon
I hope everyone is staying healthy and sane.
I’m still quarantining here in NYC. It’s been weird to see the city slow down, see everyone in masks, and to see my favorite restaurants “closed until further notice”. But I know that this is what life needs to look like right now in order for all of this to pass.
I’ve been keeping it simple in the kitchen. Partly because I don’t have the desire to spend a long time in there, but also because my kitchen is what I like to call “fun-sized” (perks of living in NYC). This recipe only requires 5 ingredients and you probably already have most of them in your pantry. It’s quick and easy and it tastes good. Let’s get to it.

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a small, non-stick pan over medium high heat.
- Season salmon with salt and pepper. Put the honey and butter in a small bowel and microwave for 10 seconds. Stir to combine.
- Add the salmon to the pan and cook ~4-5 minutes, then flip. After about another 4-5 minutes (when salmon is cooked through), spoon the honey butter mixture over the salmon. Cover for about 20 seconds, then remove from heat and serve!
