Flavor Up Your Water
We all know we need to drink water. Water provides many benefits to the body such as lubricating joints, hydrating muscles, transporting nutrients, removing wastes, improving digestion and SO much more. Plus, water makes up about 60% of the human body!
Even though all of my clients know the benefits of drinking more water, some of them find it difficult to get enough. So, I put together some fun ways to jazz it up and inspire everyone to make it more of a habit. Perfect for summer!

Berry Ice Cubes (great for 4th of July!)
Ingredients:
Blueberries
Raspberries
Water
Directions:
Wash and cut berries in quarters. Place a few pieces of fruit into each compartment in your ice tray. Fill with water. Freeze.
The combinations are endless! A few more flavor ideas:
Grapefruit + Rosemary
Papaya + Mango
Lemon + Lime
Pineapple + Coconut
Blueberry + Orange
Tips:
Soft fruits can be sliced thick, thin or in half. Harder fruits should be sliced thin (think pears or apples). Leafy herbs can be crushed to release more of their flavor, tougher roots and herbs can be crushed or muddled with a wooden spoon.
All of these combinations can be made in a glass (just adjust portions), mason jars or pitchers. You can even purchase an infuser water bottle like this or an infuser pitcher like this.
