About

Hi! I’m Adena Neglia, a registered dietitian passionate about helping people heal their relationships with food and their bodies so they can live healthier, happier lives. My mission is to help clients ditch the diets, cut through the noise, and feel good in their own skin—no complicated rules, no guilt trips, just real, sustainable progress.

I specialize in sports nutrition, gastrointestinal disorders, eating disorders and disordered eating, and autoimmune conditions such as autonomic dysfunction and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS). I’ve had the chance to work with some incredible clients, including elite athletes and performers, from the Brooklyn Nets, New Jersey Devils and New York Liberty to the New York City Ballet and US Figure Skating. But no matter who you are, my approach stays the same: health is about so much more than food and exercise. I’m here to help you figure out not just what to eat but why and how you’re eating, tackling everything from stress and sleep to activity and overall well-being.

Growing up as a competitive figure skater, I didn’t have the resources or knowledge I needed to fuel myself properly. That experience shaped me and inspired my work today—helping others feel empowered, not lost, in their health journeys.

I’ve got some paper credentials, too. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Long Island University and my Master’s in Nutrition Education from Columbia University. My work has been featured in Life and Style Magazine, Access Hollywood, Teen Vogue, People Magazine, and NY1, but my favorite thing is connecting with clients one-on-one.

When I’m not working, you can find me exploring NYC, figure skating, traveling, or spending time with my nieces and nephews.
